Counseling that sees you for you.

Counseling Approach

Relational-Cultural Theory

Relational-cultural theory (RCT) is a form of feminist therapy that celebrates the unique cultural experiences of each person. RCT has roots in the belief that all growth and change happen in relationship (including the therapeutic relationship!). RCT approaches focus on sharing power, being authentic in counseling, empathy, and exploring cultural experiences and relationships.

Narrative Therapy

Stories matter— especially yours. Narrative therapy focuses on the ways we tell our stories and creates space for us to reauthor our stories, or change our ways of thinking about ourselves. Narrative therapy includes metaphors, storytelling, and creativity.

Existential Therapy

Existential therapy focuses on life’s big questions: Who am I? What do I want in life? Where do I fit in? Existential therapy lets us wrestle with these big questions with a lot of self-compassion, patience, and care along the way.

Culturally-Responsive Care

Who you are matters. Culturally-responsive care means seeing each person for their full holistic self. As a counselor, this means I remain committed to gender-affirming care, anti-racism, anti-ableism, body positivity, and social justice. I strive to consistently grow and learn better ways to support clients further.
